About An Eccentric Lifestyle

Hey and welcome to my lifestyle blog! Here we dive into topics that we will deal with throughout life;

  • Parenting
  • Taking care of your body in a holistic sense; mental, physical, emotional, diet… everything!
  • How to get your finances in order.

I created this blog to share the joys and madness of life. Let’s face it, we all want to know that we are not alone in this craziness we call life. Solidarity! Sometimes we can find the strength we need just knowing… we are not alone.

Life is hard people!! The world keeps going while we strive to take care of ourselves, our families, and, perhaps, find a little joy in life.

And while it is nice to know we are not alone in the struggle, each of us is unique in different ways. Sometimes that means in order to live a rich life with no regrets, you have to follow a path that isn’t necessarily “mainstream.”

Don’t be afraid to follow your own path to become better than you were yesterday. Everything that I thought was “right” changed when I became a parent. Then my family and I got thrown for another loop when my husband was diagnosed with cancer at age 23.

During my college years I worked in the medical field until I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Communications of Sciences and Disorders; emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology with a Communication minor. I spent a year working in the school system when I became pregnant with our first. I have been a stay at home mom ever since.

Being a stay at home mom has its struggles… well simply being “Mom” is an adventure with many obstacles. My struggle is to do the best I can with suffering from a chronic illness; Rheumatoid Arthritis. Essentially, here I am going to share my limited experiences attempting to manage my RA while managing home and taking care of my family. Juggling everything while trying to thrive and being my best self. Hoping you can find inspiration, encouragement, and motivation to be You regardless what the world tells you.

Here we want to encourage you to be the best you can be, whatever that means for you. Accept yourself where you are right now you will be amazed at how much stress you can get rid of if you listen to your instincts. As you do so, you give others around you to do the same.

I hope that we can learn from each other. Along the way, share our ups/downs, failures, and successes. Embracing our differences while celebrating our similarities! And always be kind.
